Going on a sabbatical

To the few readers still out there, I'm sure you've noticed by now that my blog has been put on the very, very, very back burner for quite some time now. I don't really have an excuse other than it's less of a priority. {Ouch! That burns...}

So for now this blog is going on a sabbatical. It will return at some point in time when I have more time and things to share.

Now let's hug it out for old time's sake. Mmmkay?

We didn't do anything last year

Or so I thought. Then I started going through all of my photos from 2009 and realized... holy shit, we did a LOT of things.

- I learned not to separate frozen biscuits with a butcher knife, because your hand is a lot more vulnerable to a 6" blade than you would think.
- I negotiated and purchased my first home (hence the random champagne picture)
- Kevin took me to Telluride for Valentine's Day, where we stayed in a suite built for celebrities
- I remodeled my 1964 kitchen... yay for oven timers!
- I left Lookout Software to work for Yelp.com. Luckiest job on the planet.
- My brother graduated Texas Tech with soaring honors. Couldn't have been prouder.
- I ran another 5K... small steps, people.
- Kevin took me to Florida with some of this closest friends. And this white girl got a tan.
- Kevin's birthday trip was a weekend in Napa, where we signed up for a wine club in our drunken state. Oops.
- I took Kevin to Austin for Austin City Limits and he finally fell in love with Bon Iver.

I hope you all enjoy this as much as I do every time I see it.

Whaazzzzup?!?

No, I didn't fall off a cliff. No, I didn't drown in the ocean. No, Shadow's "special needs" haven't sent me running for the hills. I've just been busy. It's called life, people.

I was officially reprimanded this weekend for not having a new blog post since October. I'm tired and need to go to bed, so this is just going to be a placeholder for great things to come.

Reasons for not blogging lately:
- Work stuffs.
- More work stuffs.
- Haven't sat down yet to move new pics from new camera to computer. (Yes, a Canon T1i. Bite that and try to swallow it!)
- Even more work stuffs.
- New workout schedule.

And now I'm out of excuses. I'll be back, my faithful little readers...one step at a time!
