A while back I bought tickets to go see James Morrison at the Granada Theater for a surprise Date Night. Silly me, I read the tickets wrong and thought the concert was on March 23, when really it was scheduled for April 23. I got Kevin all pumped for Date Night in March and on our way home from work realized my total dyslexia flub. Instead, we went to eat at Matt's Rancho Martinez (Bob Armstrong dip, WHAT?!?) and then next door to the Balcony Club. It was a great Plan B Date Night but I wanted the REAL Date Night.
Last Thursday, we had the REAL Date Night. We started off with dinner on the patio at Gloria's, then walked over to Granada for the concert. Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures (doh!), but trust my words that the margaritas were yummy.
Diana Birch opened for James Morrison, and she's now my new favorite artist. LOVE her. We didn't get to the Granada until 20 minutes or so before the show started, so we were about middle ground for viewing. James didn't disappoint. Kevin, put on your earmuffs for this one...
His voice is amazing and I welcome him to come over any night of the week and sing me to sleep.
Okay, Kevin, you take take your earmuffs off.
